Another of my best countries in the world, Iceland. Here you can jump from the Americas to the European teutonic plates and walk up the middle of them.

This was based on the stones at Hedden beach, where a large log had been caught in the middle of the pile of rocks.

Amongst my favourite things is the way dry stone walls endure, but gradually becomes collonised by lichen.

Even when you are heading to this magical place you always stumble upon this circle of stones. It's small, but beautiful, up on the Preseli's in one of the best country in the world.
